Trey Moore moved back to his hometown of Memphis to helm Explore Bike Share, a non-profit launching the city’s first bike sharing system, after spending two decades leading other regional organizations with a focus on community health. Throughout that time, he had watched from afar the change and innovation occurring throughout the city. When the opportunity arose to head Memphis’ newest transportation option, he jumped at the chance to take part.
“Explore Bike Share’s mission and goals encourage me,” said Moore, “And to be a part of connecting people to their city is powerful.”
Moore was in his first week as Executive Director when he met with Financial Federal to become familiar with the new 501(c)(3)’s banking partner. He was immediately impressed – and a little taken aback – by the personal attention he received from everyone at the Bank, from Yolanda Moore at the front desk to CEO Kent Wunderlich.
“I walked in not really knowing how much was even in our account. I left with the confidence that whatever we had was in good hands.”
As the new organization gets its wheels on the ground, Moore appreciates having a stress-free, individualized banking relationship for their business deposit accounts.
“Being a startup, there is much we need to focus on. Banking is something you want to count on without having to give it much thought,” said Moore. “Financial Federal is available, accessible, and easy – just like bike share.”
