An executive with Financial Federal Bank received the lifetime achievement award from the Memphis chapter of Lambda Alpha International (LAI), a global economics society.
Richard T. Wood, III, the executive vice president and manager of the commercial/multifamily division of the Memphis-based bank, received the honor Saturday, April 23, at the Peabody Hotel.
“Considering that past recipients of this award have included prominent Memphis real estate names like Belz, Turley and McNeill, this designation certainly places my name in high cotton,” Wood said at the ceremony.
The lifetime achievement award is presented to individuals who have helped with the development and preservation of land in Memphis.
Wood has worked at Financial Federal Bank for 23 years and in the commercial lending sector for 37 years. He leads Financial Federal’s commercial real estate lending teams in Memphis, Nashville and Atlanta.
